I’m pleased to be part of preparing a STEM + Soccer Camp at UTK this summer, SoccerLab, in collaboration with One Knox SC.
The basic model is that kids will play soccer, while using various technologies increasingly used by professionals - GPS trackers, smart cameras, and the like. Then they move to a lab/classroom space to consider the data and reflect on their play (and data and analytics).

It’s a really cool program, and I’m lucky to be a small part of this with Gus (and Sam, Sukanya, and several others!)!
Check it out, share, and feel free reach out to me with any questions.
I prefer not to mix any of that scientific mumbo jumbo with the beautiful game but kudos for figuring out how to trick nerds into soccer for fun. Def an easier concept to understand than the other things you talk about on here, haha.
